Can Tecsisel’s solutions be adapted to an existing greenhouse?
Yes. Each installation is tailored to the specific production requirements, whether it is a new greenhouse or one already in operation. Where equipment is already in place, we assess what can be reused and integrated into the system, so as to focus the investment on what makes a difference. The process always begins with an assessment, which sets out what is to be retained, what is to be replaced and what is to be added.
What happens to the crop if there is a failure?
In a greenhouse, a cold night or a hot afternoon whilst the system is down can jeopardise the crop within a matter of hours. When the system detects a power cut or equipment failure, it carries out the programmed safety measures and immediately sends an SMS alarm. Each alarm has its own designated recipients, so that the alert reaches those who need to take action.
Does the system respond to external conditions?
Yes. The system checks the conditions inside and outside It monitors conditions continuously and adjusts the greenhouse before the climate deviates from the set values. This means that the greenhouse responds automatically to the sun, wind or night-time chill at any time. The parameters are set in consultation with the grower, depending on the crop and the stage of production.
Can I monitor the greenhouse remotely?
Yes. The conditions in each greenhouse can be monitored remotely, and alerts are sent via text message wherever the grower may be. This reduces the need for site visits and allows the grower to respond to any anomalies before they affect the crop. In practice, production is under constant surveillance, 24 hours a day.
Does Tecsisel monitor production after installation?
Yes. Our work continues once the system is up and running. We provide technical support, preventive maintenance and a response to service requests, to ensure the installation maintains its performance over time. As we designed the system, we know it inside out, which speeds up diagnosis and response whenever intervention is required.
Does the solution keep pace with the growth in production?
Yes. Each system is designed on a case-by-case basis and can be scaled up as production grows or requirements change. New greenhouses, more environmental monitoring or new equipment is integrated into the existing installation. The initial investment therefore keeps pace with the development of the operation.
