Sensors

Sensors and transducers that measure temperature, humidity, CO₂, pressure, wind and light levels, both inside and outside the hall. The information the control system needs to make timely and accurate decisions.

A control system is only as good as the measurements it takes.

Fans, air intakes and heating systems respond to the information provided by the sensors. An accurate and immediate reading leads to the right decision at the right time.

That is why the measurements must be reliable, taken in the right place and cover both the interior and exterior of the facility, so that the system can anticipate changes.

Tecsisel selects and installs the sensors according to the type of installation and the variables to be monitored. Each sensor is connected to the control system and positioned to measure the actual conditions in the production area.

Outdoor sensors

Wind, direction and light levels, so that the system can anticipate the weather outside.

Interior environment

Temperature and humidity are measured continuously inside the hall.

Air quality and pressure

CO₂ and differential pressure, to adjust the air change rate.

Integration

The real value lies in the way everything works together.

At Tecsisel, each sensor feeds data into the control system, which converts the readings into decisions: to open air inlets, activate ventilation, or heat or cool the space. When a reading falls outside the limits, the same system triggers an alarm. It is this integration that transforms individual measurements into a system tailored to the requirements of each installation.

Alert

Each variable is read as a continuous value.

Temperature, humidity, CO₂ and pressure are measured continuously inside the greenhouse.

The system is aware of the actual conditions at all times.

The weather outside, checked before going in.

The external sensors measure wind, wind direction and light levels, and the system adjusts itself before the indoor environment changes.

The answer comes before the problem.

Every reading turns into an action.

When a reading deviates from the target, the control system activates the ventilation, air intakes or air conditioning.

The correction is automatic and proportional to the deviation.

Any value outside the specified limits is flagged immediately.

If a reading exceeds the set limits, the system immediately triggers an SMS alarm.

The warning reaches those who need to take action.

Frequently Asked Questions

What sensors does Tecsisel supply?

Outdoor sensors (anemometer, wind direction and light sensor), temperature and humidity transducers, CO₂ and differential pressure transducers, temperature probes and accessories such as PT100 converters, sheaths and a thermostat for manual control. All are connected to the Tecsisel control system.

CO₂ builds up when there is insufficient air exchange, particularly when the hall is closed during cold weather. The CO₂ sensor enables the system to ventilate to the correct extent to maintain air quality, whilst keeping the hall at the set temperature and energy consumption to a minimum.

It measures the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the hall. Using this value, the system adjusts the opening of the air inlets and extractors so that fresh air enters at the correct velocity and is distributed throughout the space in a smooth flow over the production area.

Because the outdoor climate has the greatest influence on the indoor environment. By measuring wind, temperature and light levels outside, the system anticipates changes and adjusts ventilation, air intakes and climate control before the indoor environment deviates from the set values.

It depends on the size of the hall, the type of production and the variables to be controlled. A long hall requires several temperature measurement points to accurately reflect the actual conditions throughout the entire area. At Tecsisel, we determine the number and position of the sensors during the design phase.

Tecsisel sensors are selected to work with the Tecsisel control system. To integrate sensors or control units from other manufacturers, we assess compatibility on a case-by-case basis and advise on the best way to connect everything within the same system.

Do you need to measure the conditions at your site more accurately? The Tecsisel team can help you select the right sensors and determine their placement based on the specific requirements of your project.
